Built for pin bolts
The DEM Pin Bolt Center is developed for high volume production of large pin bolts. Sawing, machining, marking and packing run as one automatic sequence.

The saw feeds the machine
Parts are handled automatically from the saw into the machine. The line can be delivered with a saw, or integrated with a wide range of saws already on the market.

Two operations at once
Two spindles handle the chamfering while two spindles run the thread rolling. Both operations work simultaneously on the same part.

Double end machining
The machine works both ends of the part in the same cycle. That removes the second setup a single end machine would need.

Material range
The machine is customer configurable for material diameters from ø20mm to ø56mm. Configuration follows the parts you actually run.

Up to 500 parts per hour
Output reaches up to 500 parts per hour. The pace holds through long production runs without manual handling between stations.

Marking and packaging included
An integrated handling system moves parts through the machine and onto a conveyor. From there they go to the automatic marking and packaging system.

Quick to change over
The operator interface is intuitive and easy to operate. Setup time between different products is minimal, so short runs stay practical.

Made and serviced from Thisted
The machine is designed and built at AKEA in Thisted. The engineers who built it are the ones who handle service and spare parts.
