The AKEA GA Series is a range of highly productive, fully automated metal-processing machines with rotating tools and simultaneously operating spindles. The operator interface is intuitive and easy to use. The series is developed for chamfering, peeling, and thread-rolling processes on tube, bar, and rebar materials.

How it works in practice

Built for threads
The GA Series is developed for chamfering, peeling and thread rolling on tube, bar and rebar material. Rotating tools and simultaneously working spindles carry the process.

Threads from M12 to M100
Thread rolling runs from M12 up to M100. Material diameters go from 12mm to 100mm.

Loaded from the magazine
Workpieces are separated and loaded automatically from a magazine. From there they are handled automatically through the machine.

Spindles working at once
The spindles work simultaneously rather than in sequence. One to three spindles are available, covering chamfer, peeling and thread rolling.

Configured to your capacity
Spindle and vice count is set according to your processing demands and your capacity needs. The machine is specified around the volume you actually run.

Long material handled
Part lengths run from 300mm to 6000mm. Output reaches from 50 to 500 parts per hour depending on the configuration.

Sorting and palletizing
Automated sorting and palletizing systems are available as options. Finished parts leave the machine ready for the next step rather than for manual handling.

Simple to operate
The operator interface is intuitive and easy to operate. Setup time when changing between different products is minimal.

The series is customer-configurable for material diameters from 12mm to 100mm, with thread rolling from M12 up to M100. Workpieces are separated and loaded automatically from a magazine, then handled automatically through the machine.

Setup time when changing between products is minimal. The number of spindles and vices can be configured according to the customer’s processing requirements and capacity needs. Optionally, the machines can be delivered with automated sorting and/or palletizing systems.
